ABAP Cloud is the ABAP development model for building clean core compliant, cloud-ready business applications, services, and extensions on-stack in SAP S/4HANA, in the cloud and on-premise, as well as side-by-side on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). ABAP Cloud covers transactional, analytical, and integration development scenarios, and enterprise search. The ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is at the heart of ABAP Cloud for transactional scenarios. SAP plans to provide AI capabilities in ABAP to increase developer efficiency, improve custom code migration and transformation, and enable ABAP developers to infuse AI into their custom applications and business processes.

ABAP Cloud is available on SAP BTP ABAP Environment, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, and SAP S/4HANA as of release 2022.

This event offers a mix of lectures, hands-on exercises, and lab previews on clean core extensibility with ABAP Cloud and generative AI in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA. For the practical exercises, participants must bring their own laptops.Focus topics:
